The ethereal angel, the very earthy & real man, the whole thing is mystical and very real all at once, lovely symbolism - and open to interpretation; is he a hardened gang member who's seen 'one thing too many' and crying for help, is he some guy so far down on his luck there's 'no-way-out', a man who's lost a loved one???
Which ever he is, he's in a bad place and the photo reflects that, it's also a very hopeful and full of life image.
I love the grain texture and the way you've edited to make it look like a painting (something I sometimes aim for but haven't achieved to this effect yet).
I'd go so far as to say that in many ways this is probably the most beautiful image I've seen on DA so far.
